We broke the story back in October 2010 when Raymond Reid left Starcom MediaVest Group, a few weeks later he was appointed Managing Director Of NEO@Ogilvy Canada and we now have it confirmed from multiple sources that he has been hired by AcuityAds. This is a newly created role for the company, and from what we have gathered so far he will be to leading a new division for the company called AdScience (not the company with a similar name). Looking at his background, it would make sense to be a role that involves product evangelism and working with publishers.
Back in May we also broke the news of AcuityAds steps to becoming a public company, which will change the programmatic landscape in Canada, but also give the Toronto-based company additional funds on their road to further expansion into the United States.
