Are the days of independent digital agencies numbered? Wunderman, which is a digital marketing agency owned by WPP has announced they have pushed Vancouver-based Blast Radius. Blast Radius employs 400 people and has locations in Vancouver, Toronto and cities throughout the US and Europe, some of their clients include Nike, Whirlpool, Starbucks, and Rubbermaid.
“We have some built-in tools to identify how best you can tap into social networks in a way that is sustainable and truly meaningful to the brand and its community,” said Gurval Caer, CEO and president of Blast Radius. “That is definitely something that’s core to our brand.”
Having met and had Gurval speak at some of the events I’ve organized over the years, I’m sure it will be no time before he’s off onto his next venture.
