During just about every meeting or phone conversation I have had had in the last few months seems eventually move towards part of the discussion around social media, there have been a lot of those stories covered here as well such as Radar DDB’s launch, Edelman Canada’s pending entrance into the space,  or Radian6 Raises $3.7 million in financing for a social media monitoring service.  As part of the many discussions I’m often asked for a referral on which company someone from the client side can use to help solve their business challenge.  For those of your familiar with latin you will know that Profectio is “the source” which is part of the reason why I started this in the first place to be a source for the business community.  The latest project that I’m working on is a “Who’s Who in Social Media”, a report to help identify the various vendors in this space that provide services to Canadian companies, as part of the report there will also be a system to help identify the difference between once vendor vs. another.  After all, anyone can open a business in a new space and call themselves an expert.  If there are any companies who want to be listed in the report be sure to reach out.
