Michael Davidson has been hired by DDB Canada’s Toronto office as the agency’s new Vice President, Business Unit Director, Brand Integrity Group. In the role he’ll be responsible for leading the agency’s growing automotive business specifically the Midas and Subaru accounts and new business initiatives for DDB Canada and its integrated divisions. Davidson comes to DDB Canada with over 21 years of combined client and agency experience in the Packaged Goods, Financial Services, Retail, Government, and Sports and Entertainment sectors. He recently left Arnold Worldwide Canada where he was VP, Marketing and Business Development responsible for leading successful national new business campaigns and client service groups. Throughout his career, Davidson has worked on accounts such as Fidelity Investments, RadioShack, Ocean Spray, ClubLink, M&M Meat Shops, the Ontario Government, Tourism Toronto, Uniilever, Kraft and Canadian Blood Services.

Blast Radius has appointment Barry Yates as Chief Operating Officer, prior to joining Blast Radius Barry Yates was the President & CEO of Antarctica Systems Inc., a business intelligence software company and the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Delano Technology Corporation, an eMarketing software company. Vancouver based Contec Innovations, a a provider of mobile infrastructure software, today announced the appointment of Sun Hua as Director, Strategic Marketing for China, where he’ll be responsible for sales and marketing of Contec’s Hornet solutions to the two major mobile operators in China, China Mobile and China Unicom, including their respective provincial operators.
