GJP Advertising has promoted Lisa Greenberg to the role of Creative Director, replacing John Farquhar who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Lisa has over 15 years of marketing experience, the last 4 of which have been with GJP Advertising’s creative team. Prior to that, she was a senior designer at Spencer Francey Peters, where she worked with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Scotiabank among other clients. Before that, Greenberg resided in her native South Africa, where she worked for some of its leading advertising and design firms, including Ogilvy & Mather, CODE, an offshoot of Jupiter Drawing Room, Tequila, a division of TBWA Hunt Lascaris.
Daryl Gardiner has been promoted to Associate Creative Director at DDB Canada’s Vancouver office. Daryl has been with the agencies creative department since 1998 after winning the Palmer Jarvis DDB scholarship while attending the Ontario College of Art and Design. While with DDB Canada he has worked on accounts such as United Way, Sun-Rype, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) and Hockey Canada. Chris Moore has also joined the Vancouver office in the role of Art Director where he’ll work with BC Hydro and Boston Pizza. Prior to the Vancouver’s office of DDB Canada he’s worked in the agencies Kuala Lumpar and Auckland offices. The last addition is Jeff Galbraith as Copywriter and prior to this he had internships at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and DDB Chicago.
Yahoo Cananda has hired Jean-Francois Leduc as an Account Executive for their Montreal office. In the role he’ll be responsible for advertising
sales in the Quebec market place.
Neo Advertising Canada which made its entrace into Canada by acquiring DAN Media late last year is looking to grow their market share in the Digitial Sinage space and has hired Jean-Claude Henri as the Company’s Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Business Development. In the role Jean-Claude will be responsible for developing and implementing the Canada-wide marketing strategy and looking after business development for all Neo Advertising’s operations in Canada and North America. Prior to joining the company he was Vice-President and General Manager - Eastern Region of Pattison Outdoor Advertising. Neo Advertising Canada has also added a office in Toronto’s financial district and staffed it with three seasoned Account Managers and a Coordinator which report into Jean-Claude with day to day operations being managed by Ian Dobson.
