Yahoo! Canada adds Hunter Madsen as Marketing Director to the team. Hunter previously headed product marketing for Yahoo! Marketing Services. In 1993 Madsen founded JWT Interactive, Thompson’s primary digital marketing unit at the time. Intersting to note that this is the secod is the second senior management hire for Yahoo! Canada from outside of Canada, the other recent hire was Mark Updegrove who heads up Yahoo! Canada’s sales efforts.
GJP Advertising has brought John Yorke on board in the role of Executive Vice President of Interactive and Integration, prior to that he has been with Cookie Jar Group, John Wiley and Sons.
Environics Communicaions was on the grow again this week with the addition of Frances Maniucu and Elizabeth Goldenshein as a Senior Consultant in their consumer practice
The next wave of radio, XM Canada announced they’ve added Donald McKenzie as Senior Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. McKenzie has spent over 22 years in sales and marketing with most recent experience at TELUS Mobility.
