A lot of headlines last week were about the fall out of the economy, but some of us who are not all consumed with talk of “doom and gloom” see this as the perfect opportunity to look for those great opportunities at a fraction of the original cost.

I love hearing about Canadian success stories, that is one of the reasons why I first launched Profectio and PR In Canada. However it is unfortunate to see when a Canadian dream doesn’t quite go the way the founders originally wanted. That seems to be the fate of Calagary-based (originally) StumbleUpon who was acquired by Ebay and now the web is full or rumours and stories suggest that eBay should dump the dump the social bookmarking site.
