
After attending last week’s “Sin In The City party” held by NABS (National Advertising Benevolent Society of Canada) there is a definite change in the vibe with many who attended from the Toronto advertising and marketing industry. While some agencies have cut back on their staff due to a decrease on client’s spend in sectors such as automotive or finance there are still a few agencies who have managed to uncover opportunities and are growing. Another big trend is the number of new start ups that I’ve seen launch in the last six months, or the number of calls or emails I have received from people who want to meet and talk about their start up idea and get some advice. “Seek and ye shall find,” new business opportunities are still available…
