The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced that Internet advertising revenues
exceeded $5.2 billion for the third quarter of 2007, which represents yet another milestone for the online world and a $1.1 billion increase, or 25.3 percent, over Q3 2006.
Let’s be honest, the Microsoft’s Zune portable digital music player hasn’t quite taken off the way that Balmer and the boys in Redmond had hoped but they’re not throwing in the towel just yet. Microsoft announced they are acquiring Musiwave for around $50 million, which is a provider of mobile music entertainment services to operators and media companies.
It looks Mark Zuckerberg isn’t content with Facebook’s current dominance in North America as rumours are flying around the net they are going to be acquiring Zhanzuo.com, a Chinese social networking site with seven million users $85 million. How much bigger can this social networking site grow to?
