Have you ever been walking along the street typing away on your mobile device and came within inches of running into a wall or someone else on the street? Voice on the Go might be a good solution for you. Their subscription service allows for users to dial in and listen to
their email and use their voice to manage their email and calendar, as well as search contacts by name or company and place calls. The service offers users the ability to do things such as:
- Listen to email summary (”You have 1 unread email. Email number 1 from Richard Roberts. Subject is: Lunch. Received today at 9:53 a.m.”
- Search contacts & place calls (”Call Mobile”)
- Dial a number (”Call Number: 1-888-555-1234″)As hands-free legislations becomes more prevalent the demand for services such as this will increase, but for now at $5.99 CDN per month it is a nice to have service. There are approximately 50 countries with hands-free legislation such as Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand and US based cities such as New York, New Jersey, California, and Washington, DC have it now. The company is currently offering a 30-day for free when you sign up. An The Enterprise version is also available which provides increased security to voice and email access for companies, government and other organizations.
