Voice On The Go Connects Visibly Impaired

Mobile phones, BlackBerry, and now officially in Canada, the iPhone, in today’s world of being “always on
it hard to find someone walking the street with out one of these devices. They help allow us to stay informed about the latest score on the game, buy tickets for the movie on Friday night and help us stay connected with friends and loved ones. Mobile application developer, Voice on the Go is looking to help the visibly impaired see hear their email messages with the launch of a new partnership with the CNIB. The new offering will help some 800,000 Canadians living with vision loss to access their email, calendar and contacts with a few simple voice commands. Subscribers will now be able to dial in to listen to, compose, reply and delete their email, access their calendar, search contacts by name and place calls.

who have limited computer access can now stay connected and enjoy greater independence.”

The solution will work on any mobile, Blackberry or iPhone device.
