Toronto-based Viigo, developer of mobile application software has hired Mark Ruddock as company’s new President and CEO to help the company expand upon their technology that allows for publishers to deliver content to mobile devices. Prior to joining, Mark was an Entrepreneur in Residence with Ventures West and the Founding CEO of INEA Corporation, a financial software organization that became a key strategic partner to many of the world’s leading financial institutions.
“The rise of the Smartphone has created an unprecedented opportunity for the delivery of powerful and useful services to the palms of people’s hands,” added Ruddock. “Migrating content and services to mobile devices, however, has historically been a very challenging task. Viigo changes all of that. Our technology permits rapid mobilization in a way that is wonderfully compelling to both publishers and end users alike.”
