Two Questions To Ask Before You Select A Social Media Agency?

Companies of all sizes are looking to how they can leverage social media to help them sell more and acquire more customers. We have seen countless examples of how brands have leveraged social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Before you sign on the dotted line with an agency there are a few things that you should consider first.

While it is very easy to offer social media services, not all companies actually know they are doing.

Do they walk the walk?

  • How long has the agency been involved in social media?
  • How are they engaging in social media? Do they have a following or have they set up a Twitter account and the world simply doesn’t care?
  • Are they using all the social media tools, more importantly are they using the tools they are suggesting for your company?
  • Not every company should have a corporate blog, but they should be at least contributing somewhere to share the agency’s thought leadership

Do they have any previous success or case studies?

  • Again, it is very easy to set up a social media agency but can this firm back up what they say they can do? Case studies are a great way to prove their previous success?
