For years we’ve been hearing about the power of mobile marketing and companies such as Toronto-based MyThum Interactive have been leading the charge to not only put Canada on the map, but to also offer really innovative ways to use SMS. Their latest client, Score Media which is the parent to The Score and Score Mobile has just launched a new service for sports fans. txtTV (www.thescore.com/iTV) is a partnership that delivers interactive TV to sports fans as they can now share rants, opinions, votes and predictions all via SMS.
“The Score is the only sports network that truly integrates the authentic voice of the sports fan,”
explains Richard Garner, VP of Programming, at The Score. “Utilizing SMS as another means
for viewers to share their opinions makes perfect sense for our younger skewing audience.”
The service launch July 2, 2008 allowing viewers to be part of the live programming and interact with the hosts and help be part of the shows programming offering an increased user experience.
