Telus rocks on with Led Zeppelin and new mobile content

Telus has announced an exclusive content partnership deal to provide their mobile clients with access to legendary rock music of Led Zeppelin. Customers will have access to ring tones, wallpapers, videos and full-song over-the-air download, and can personalize their phone to landmark songs as “Black Dog,†“Rock and Roll,†“Kashmir,†“Communication Breakdown,†and “Stairway To Heavenâ€, which will be available on November 13, 2007.
“Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever and their music transcends generations,†said Steve Kane, President of Warner Music Canada. “We are excited to be working with a forward thinking partner like TELUS to offer the group’s legendary catalogue of recordings across the entire spectrum of mobile products to long-time fans, as well as new, young fans discovering the band for the first time.â€
All music and video can be accessed from the Telus Mobile Music site located at telusmobility.com/music. As part of the promotion Telus has launched a contest for a chance to win tickets to the concert in London, UK, by downloading Led Zeppelin content to their TELUS mobile phone between October 22 and November 5.
