Remember the good old days which speech regonition was a new thing, there was this software product called Dragon Naturally Speaking which would translate the words you typed into a computer synthesized voice. Fast forward a few generations and stick it into your Blackberry device and you can now “DoMore”. Parent company Nuance Communications, Inc. announced today a new partnership with Rogers Wireless to provide voice control over BlacBerry devices on the Rogers Wireless network.

With the simple click of the “DoMore” icon, customers now have the ability to use Voice-Activated Web Search, Texting, Email and Voice Dialing. With an additional subscription fee of $6, subscribers using BlackBerry 7130e, 8703e, 8100 and 8800 can access the service. Hit the button and simply say “Find business Overnight Shipping near Montreal” or “Weather for Toronto” and presto.
