TrojanOne Helps Mattel Canada Launch Max Steel At Fan Expo

As the annual Fan Expo Canada quickly approaches, Mattel Canada has enlisted full-service marketing agency TrojanOne to assist in the execution of a unique brand experience for the launch of the Max Steel entertainment property in Canadian markets. Mattel will debut its Max Steel augmented reality app (A.P.P) in an experiential activation at the 2013 Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, August 22-25. This will be Mattel’s first-ever presence at the convention.

Apple Beefs Up Map Tech With Acquisition Of Toronto's Locationary

As they look to a compete with Google’s mapping services, Apple recently purchased Toronto-based Locationary for an undisclosed sum. Locationary’s crowd-sourced location data platform will be a be a much needed addition to Apple’s iOS especially after CEO wrote an apology explaining the disaster the company had when iOS 6 was first released.

App That: Government Of Alberta Makes Healthy Eating More Than Kids A Game

As the Government of Alberta was looking for ways to engage citizens and help education kids about the benefits of healthy eating they turned to DDB Canada to develop an innovative way to aspire and engage youth. The new initiative is part of The Government of Alberta’s province-wide program, titled the Healthy U 5&1 Experiment which helps families adopt wholesome habits by adding at least five servings of fruit and vegetables, and an hour of activity into each day.
