Syscan International Inc. has appointed that Joseph Tassone President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Tassone has been a leader in the RFID and security industry for over 20 years and in his career he brought a number of technical firsts to the industry. He was Founder/CEO of iMonitor Corp., a company that developed and brought to market, remotely managed security services, before it was acquired. Prior to founding iMonitor, Mr. Tassone was VP/CTO for Simplex Time Recorder Co. Inc. where he was responsible for all security, card access, ID Management, fire, and audio communication products for this $800 million buildings’ systems company.
