Sympatico/MSN Expands Portal Sales Team

Despite the looming completion of the Bell Canada take over deal, Sympatico/ MSN says it is business as usual and has recently expanded their sales team. Joining and reporting directly to Gary Anderson, VP Consumer Internet Services is Craig Rennick in the role of Strategic Alliance Lead and manage Tier One Partnership accounts such as Workopolis, Yellow Pages Group and Lavalife. Criag is no stranger to the Internet with career move including, Co-Founded Fortiva an email management/archive company and was responsible for sales and professional services. Fortiva was recently acquired by a California company called Proofpoint. He also had senior roles in World Wrestling Federation and Videotron Cable along the journey.

Later this month, Brad Furtney will be joining the Portal Team as Director/VP Sales and will bring his years of sales and management experience to help the online property reach sles targets. Most recently he was with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) as Director of National Sales and also held roles as Strategic Planning Director and Director of Corporate Sponsorships also working for the CBC.
