Rogers Media has made an investment into Vuguru which is a media entertainment studio owned by Former-CEO of Walt Disney Company rogers-attMichael Eisner. The financials of the deal weren’t disclosed but rumours floating around the internet put it at several million. As part of the deal Senior Vice-President, Digital Media for Rogers Media, Claude Galipeau will join the board of Vuguru. Rogers will also retain exclusive Canadian distribution rights to content created by the studio and will help to round out Rogers’ VOD offering.
