due to using confidential information. Security vendor Verisign has put in an offer to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Certicom at a cash price of CDN $2.10 per common share. The total purchase price of the transaction is CDN $92 million or approximately US $73 million, or CDN $50 million or US $40 million, net of Certicom’s existing cash and short-term marketable securities. The total valaue of the deal would be worth CDN $92 million (aprox. US $73 million).
