RBC announced their plan to hire (6) post-secondary student bloggers as part of their peer-to-peer (P2P) information exchange site launching at the end of August, where students get an opportunity to share their successes and struggles about finances. Site content will be driven by the students themselves and the hired student bloggers will help to manage discussions and blog about their own experiences and share information and solutions about money issues specific to students at the undergrad and graduate level.

“When I was a college student I had lots of questions about managing my money through the school year - now that I’m out of school, I want to make sure students have easy access to the information they’re looking for,” said Michel Savoie, a bilingual francophone from Sudbury, who will be hosting the RBC p2p site and leading the blogging team. “I see RBC p2p as a place where students can share stories and experiences and talk about solutions that will work for them - and what better way to do that than with a site for students, managed by students.”

RBC_P2P.jpgTo apply to the program students are being asked to create and forward their homemade audition videos, which will be uploaded onto the RBC p2p web site at www.rbcp2p.com, on October 31, students will then be able to view and vote on their favourite candidate.
