Rare Method expands into the US with BOWG

Rare Method is looking to continue its expansion plans into the United States with plans to purchase Blain Olsen White Gurr Advertising (BOWG), a Salt Lake City, Utah based integrated marketing firm. The Calgary based firm has signed an arm’s length agreement and Plan of Merger to acquire BBCJ Ventures which operates as BOWG and upon completion will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Rare Method. The deal is worth $1,599,000.00 (US.) and subject to BBCJ Ventures board approval and will be the firs to many offices the company plans to establish in cities such as Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Denver according to President, Roger Jewett.
The firm has been having a great year so far with recorded revenue of $2.04 million, up 59% from $1.28 million a year ago, and picking up being named Alberta’s 2nd fastest growing company by Alberta Venture Magazine.
