If you’ve ever seen his commercials on TV you will know that Bob McCown is not afraid to speak his mind, that is probably one of the reasons why he has such a large listener-base. He’s the type of guy will stand is not afraid to stand for something and tell the world his opinion, even if it is not popular. He turned to Toronto-based content creation company, 252 Media to helping in create Fadoo.ca, a new sports site for the radio host. I had a chance to catch up with one of 252 Media’s principles Nigel Da Costa recently who was very excited about the new project and is looking forward to helping Bob make the transition to the Internet and establish a community around his passion.

The first phase of the interactive site has been launched and encourages visitors to place comments such as “hate it”, “awesome” or “boring” for a chance to win an autographed copy of McCown’s Law: 100 Greatest Hockey Arguments. McCowan is looking to leverage his million+ weekly listener base and has already been able to attract over 5,000 votes within the first few days of the site’s launch. Quizative, another new agency closely tied with Fuse Marketing was responsible for the site’s creative, lead by Adrian Capobianco as President.
