The Quebecor Media Board of Directors has finally gotten the nod of approval to move forward with its acquisition of Nurun at a price of $4.75 per share. Quebecor Media which also owns Videotron, Sun Media Corporation and Canoe will now own 100% of Nurun’s issued and outstanding common shares.
As part of the acquisition, Nurun Board of Director’s Luc Filiatreault, Francois Gervais, Bertrand P. Menard, Erik Peladeau, Jacques-Herve Roubert and Jean-Pierre Valeriola from its Board of Directors. Two new directors, namely Louis Morin and Pierre Karl Peladeau, now join Marc Tremblay on Nurun’s Board.
