Kijiji Canada the online classified services that connects buyers and sellers has hit another milestone today and surpassed 500,000 listings and 3.2 million monthly visitors. Kijiji Canada has doubled their unique monthly visitors since I had a talked with Country Manager Janet Bannister back in November 2006. To help with the celebrate the company is to celebrate is donating 500,000 pennies ($5,000) to support a Winnipeg woman who has used Kijiji to raise money for a local charity.

“We saw Jennifer Baillie’s ad and felt that it captured the spirit of Kijiji and demonstrated how the site can bring communities together. We are pleased to present Jennifer with a cheque for $5,000 to support her team in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer.” said Ms Bannister.

364Kijiji is a free local classifieds site with categories such as Buy & Sell, Cars, Services, Housing, and Jobs. With sites in 38 cities across Canada.
