Nortel’s CTO joins the blogosphere

I just caught a recent article by Martin Slofstra over at IT Business.ca and it looks like Nortel’s CTO, John Roese has recently launched a corporate blog 
powered by popular blogging platform WordPress. His first post has generated good feedback and positive comments from readers which also includes Nortel employees. He’s done a good job to introduce himself and career background (impressive, CTO of a International telecom company 36).
What’s the point of a Nortel blog? According to John’s post “I have many opinions and observations to share (as you’ll discover as you get to know me!) and enjoy immensely an open and vigorous debate of ideas.”
Based on the aggregated list of Canadian Corporate Blogs that I released earlier this week, this is the first Canadian blog by a CTO, and I’m sure not the last.
