New Media BC announced earlier today the call for submissions for the 2007 PopVox Awards which will honor local digital media, the winners will be announced on September 22 at the Vancouver International Digital Festival. Awards categories include Best Web 2.0 Application, Best Mobile Game, Best Digital Animation Short, Best Digital VFX, Best Game, Best Digital Music Score, and Homegrown: The Best of British Columbia (BC).
“The PopVox Awards will be the people’s choice awards for the digital media sector,” said Lynda Brown, President, New Media BC. “Who better than industry peers to determine and celebrate the very best achievements by independent digital content producers.”
