Position Summary
The Manager of Engagement Management is responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale client engagements and/or multiple smaller engagements for a single client. The Manager of Engagement Management is the primary Organic point of contact for the client in the day-to-day execution of client engagements and acts as project team leader.
This is a detail-oriented role that requires superior project management skills, flexibility, resiliency and the ability to manage client expectations through proactive communication, status reporting and scope management. The Engagement Manager is also a natural leader with experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and a proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
Education/Work Experience
- 5+ yrs overall experience preferred including:
- 3+ yrs experience managing people, tasks, and clients.
- 3+ yrs of experience in a similar role. (Web development firm, IT consulting firm, strategy consulting firm, or agency environment).
- PMI certification a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
