Logibec Groupe Informatique Ltd. (TSX:LGI) announced yesterday that is has acquired all the outstanding shares of Ideal Software, Inc., a company in the United States doing business as REPS Software. Logibec is a Montreal based company which develops, markets, implements and provides support of information systems for the health and social services sector, currently they have over 200 clients in Quebec and throughout Canada. The current contractual agreements of REPS Software should contribute $700,0000 CDN and $2.0 million CDN to the Company’s recurring revenue during the fiscal years 2007 and 2008, respectively. The Company believes that there is excellent cross-selling potential for REPS Software’s CRM software within MDI’s customer base as well as an opportunity to promote MDI’s current range of products to REPS Software’s clients.
