Maybe it’s the market, but lately, a lot of marketing agencies have been shoring up their range of services by acquiring other companies that have what they’re lacking.
The latest is The Jetstar Group, which has expanded its experiental marketing services with the addition of the national event company, Lifestyle Incorporated.
The “design-based” event company will expand on Jetstar’s five entertainment pillars to create high-profile events that will build and maintain relationships between brands and consumers.
Both agencies see it as a mutually beneficial agreement. Lifestyle Incorporated Creative Director Erastus Burley says “Our alignment with The Jetstar Group only further cements our expertise and industry credibility.” Andrew Turner, president of Jetstar, believes “This division will bring a whole new level of event production and execution to Canada.”
With a combined list of clients that include Pepsi, TELUS and Nissan, both sides should have a chance to stretch their creative chops. Certainly , in the current staggering economy, it gives them both a lot more to offer.
