A slight hicup for LG as the company issues a massive recall across Canada asking customer to turn in the LG 150 cell phones due to not meeting RSS standards, no not that RSS, Radio Standard Specification set out by Industry Canada. The good news is that there is no cost to consumers as they have agree to replace the units at no cost for a unit of equal value. The units have been sold to a number of mobile providers across the country including Virgin Mobile Canada, TBayTel, Télébec, Sogetel, SaskTel, NorthernTel, MTS Allstream, KMTS, Bell Mobility/Aliant Mobility. The recall represents approximately 50,000 phones in total to be recalled and replaced.
