Lexico Publishing Groups taps AOL Canada to be online advertising sales representative

The Lexico Publishing Group which runs reference sites such as Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, and Reference.com has selected AOL Canada to be their online advertising representative. “Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, and Reference.com provide a quick and
easy way to search for definitions and other language related answers on the Internet,” says Jasper Chou, Director of Marketing, Lexico Publishing Group, LLC. “Canada represents a large portion of our total users world wide and our new representation relationship with AOL Media Network in Canada gives Canadian advertisers access to a dedicated following of information hungry Web users who are fans of our Web sites.”
This is the second big win for AOL Canada in recent months, in March 2007 they were selected by NYTimes.com to represent handle the online advertising for the online property.
Based on numbers from comScore Media Metrix, Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com and Reference.com combined to serve more than 24 million unique visitors in May 2007.
