LiveHive Systems has been aggressively adding more clients to their roaster who use the software developer’s Interactive entertainment system such as Turner Sports and they have added on Leafs TV which is operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) that will bring interactive television to five Leafs TV broadcasts of Toronto Maple Leafs games.

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with LiveHive Systems,” said Chris Hebb, Senior VP of Broadcast & Content, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE). “Bringing interactivity to Maple Leafs hockey is an exciting way to get our fans even more engaged.”

The first broadcast will beginning with tonight’s game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs, fans watching on Leafs TV or via NHL Centre Ice will be able to participate in a five-game contest that involves interaction with live hockey. Leafs TV Game Master which is powered by LiveHive’s NanoGaming technology, allows fans to play along while they watch, accumulate points, and qualify for prizes. Players make such predictions as who will get the next goal, as well as answer trivia questions, and chat with other fans. To play, viewers go online to www.mapleleafs.com/gamemaster before each game and click on the ‘Launch the Game’ button.
