JobLoft.com, the start up by a group of recent university graduates has been acquired by Hcareers out of Fort Worth, Texas for an undisclosed sum. JobLoft’s CEO, Chris Nguyen and team have created a niche based job board targeted at the retail, food services and hospitality industry which is a match for Hcareers focus in the similar sectors.

“This is such a great move for the hospitality industry as a whole,” said Chris Nguyen, CEO of JobLoft.com. “Our loyal following in the hourly job seeker space is going to flourish from this new ownership as we’ll now be able to expand the opportunities available to job seekers in their own communities”

The founders of JobLoft had appeared on the first season of CBC’s Dragon’s Den with a very controversial episode which they weren’t forced to wait on posting details on the company blog due to an NDA.
