What you do:
Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, French Services, you will have the following responsibilities:
Oversee the development of French Services’ medium- and long-term business plans and strategies. You will also analyze the internal and external environments to identify risks inherent to these business plans and strategies. Additionally, you will also work with Regulatory Affairs.
You will supervise a variety of complex projects aimed at analyzing and predicting the strategic direction of the Corporation and its business plans in a rapidly evolving media environment.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- University degree in administration, communications or any other related field.
- 10-15 years’ experience in communications and/or production.
- In-depth knowledge of the media industry (TV, radio, Web), and ability to develop a strategic vision for its issues.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and ability to project them into the future to anticipate their impact on the media landscape.
- Strong familiarity with the various production resources.
- Ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Proven communication skills to intervene with stakeholders at various hierarchical levels, both internally and externally.
- Able to analyze, synthesize, and make complex situations/ information accessible to a general audience.
- Bilingualism, spoken and written.
