Insurance Bureau of Canada and Groupement des assureurs automobiles (GAA) launched a new campaign called “Eddy’s Adventures” which is an interactive campaign to raise awareness among Quebecers and emphasize the importance of outsmarting the thieves. Four mini-films take web viewers through Eddy’s unsuccessful robbery attempts, the campaign will run for two blocks of four weeks starting January 12, 2007. The campaign also includes tips for preventing home and car thefts, as well there is a viral marketing component allowing users to send and subscribe to email tips mailing list.
