ICE 2007

Content that pays was the theme 2006, and in my conversation with Alan Sawyer, Conference Producer and Director of Conference Programming for ICE 2007 he said they will carry forward the theme to this year’s event as well which takes place March 21 & 22, 2007. We recorded the conversation and you can click on the link below to hear more about the upcoming conference.

Over 120 speakers from around the world including Opening Keyonte by Robert J. Sawyer, Noted Futurist, and Award-Winning Science-Fiction Author & Lunch Keynote by Tony Chapman, Founder and CEO of Capital C, the company behind the recent Bride has a Massive Wig Out.

We also discussed this whole area of user-generated content which has created a new group of companies such as Toronto based Bubbleshare which was purchased by another Toronto based company Kaboose or recently launched Blogtv.ca. While many companies are focusing on creating these platforms, the conference will also cover off “how to make money from user-generated content?”

The other big additions this year are the Telus Multi-Screen Pitch and Chum U Pitch.

Whether you are in advertising, marketing, media, content producers, content creators or you work in wireless, film, radio, Television Alan says the conference will have something for you.

Check out the conversation and then register and attend ICE 2007.
