My name is Scott Mac Donald and I’ve been asked by Dave to contribute to the Toronto Technology Week (TTW) blog over the next couple of months. I thought it might be a good idea to introduce myself before I start posting.

I’m a recent graduate of Acadia University’s business program. Although I’ve been a resident of Atlantic Canada for most of my life, I moved to Toronto in January to pursue a post-graduate education in public relations at Humber College. Although I’ve only been in the city for a few months, the experience has been very rewarding thus far. Toronto has a bustling public relations community and it’s a prime destination for PR students and social media enthusiasts alike.

I’ve been active in the blogging community for about six months now. My blogroll includes a mix of public relations, technology, sports and whatever else catches my interest. I regularly post on my personal blog, Fuzzy Gloves, and recently started writing for Forward .

Needless to say, I’m very happy to be contributing to this blog at such an exciting time. ICT is alive and well in the city of Toronto and I look forward to joining the conversation in the weeks leading up to Toronto Technology Week.
