I love this world of social media, I asked a simple question on Facebook last week (Dave Forde is looking for a graphic designer for a project” and have been flooded with wall posts, notes and emails from companies offering graphic design work. The problem is they all look good, how do I choose which firm to use? I mentioned late last year that I’ll be working on a new project, let’s call it Project MP.
What Is Project MP?
I’ve become know to many as the “Connector,” the guy in the room who knows who is who. The person you can call and he’d probably know the right person for you to call to make an introduction to the company you want to business with. Networking over the years has helped me to build a great database and I want to start to leverage it in a deeper and more meaningful. Profectio (latin for the source) was launched to help connect Canada’s communities and Project MP will help take things to the next level. I’ve been working with a local developer who’s helped to build the back end of the market place which will connect buyers and sellers. In many ways it will be an extention of what I’ve started on Profectio.com and PR In Canada but with a few new tweak, bells and whistles. We’re just about done, but need to give it a fresh n’ clean face. Something that speaks to the fast paced and every changing Internet world we live in.
Can I design for Project MP?
So here’s what I want to do next, if you are interested on working with us to provide the look and feel (not the back end technology) for Project MP than submit a link or file(s) of work.
