Since 1979, Decima Research has provided public opinion and market research and has announced today the company has been sold to Harris
Interactive and will be renamed to Harris/Decima. Decima has grown to revenues of over $30 million full time staff of more than 125 people, and operates two state of the art call centers with more than 300 stations. The company also has a proprietary online panel of more than 140,000 Canadians, and offices in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
CEO of Decima, Bruce Anderson added “Over the last few years, we had been approached by a number of companies, and in no case did the potential fit seem as perfect as with Harris Interactive. Their entrepreneurial spirit, the pace they set for themselves and their commitment to lead the development of the online research industry made it easy to decide to discuss a relationship. Then, the chemistry that developed as our people got together with theirs made this transaction the right thing to do and now the right time to do it. For our employees, this transaction opens up great opportunities to do more, learn more and be even more successful.”
