Ann Nurock has been hard at work preparing Grey Canada for what some might call as their come back into Canada’s advertising industry. Ann took the helm as President of Grey Canada earlier this year and the team is already starting to see the fruit of Ann’s vision come to light. Grey Canada’s Vancouver office was recently been named Agency of Record for BC Recreation and Parks Association’s Walk BC initiative and Transcontinental’s Vancouver Magazine.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon and the BC Recreation and Parks Association have teamed up to create Walk BC which promotes walking to adults in British Columbia. A new campaign created by Grey Canada was launched at the beginning of September, the www.walkbc.ca site was created which allows members to register and join the community.
Grey’s other recent account win is Transcontinental’s Vancouver Magazine, which covers local events, people and issues that are pertinent to the city and acts as a help inform and guide people about activities in Vancouver. The new publication is scheduled to go live next month and will feature a new site designed by Grey Vancouver
“The Internet is a powerful tool that builds online communities and enables mass movement. Grey helped us develop an engaging and interactive website that communicates the benefits of walking in starting and maintaining an active lifestyle, and enables members to exchange ideas and success stories to enhance programs across communities,” says Suzanne Strutt, CEO of BC Recreation & Parks Association. “With this website, Walk BC is well on its way to support our goal to increase physical activity levels for everyone in our province.”
Part of Ann’s goal is to be establish Grey Canada as one of the Top 10 agencies in Canada within the year.
