While podcasting quickly become the word of 2005, we can’t forget that radio and Television are still very popular forms of entertainment “for now” and London, Ontario’s Voices.com is looking to continue to leverage the increasing demand from advertisers for voice over work. Launched in November 2003 by CEO David Ciccarelli the company has quickly grown to 8,000 voice talents and serves over 50,000 clients worldwide. Their latest partnership with Google’s New Audio Ads platform which is currently in beta testing will provide great opportunities for advertisers and agencies who are looking to make the transition to finding talent at online marketplaces, due greatly in part because of an enormous push and subsequent validation of the market by Google. David adds, “What used to be a trend is now the status quo. Large advertising agencies are now finding voices online. We’re past the early adopter stage and this is a very exciting time for all of us in the industry.”
