Will Mobile Advertising Grow In 2010?

Google is certainly betting on that as they have dished out a whopping $750 million in stock for mobile advertising network AdMob, which is considered as the largest mobile adverting network in the US. I’m not too surprised by the acquisition as this is a natural fit for Google’s Android, their mobile advertising operating system and fits within how Google does business with products such as Google AdSense.

This marks the third largest acquisition by Google after their purchase of DoubleClick and YouTube.  I’m starting to lose count of the number of acquisition that Google has made in 2009, and we still have another month and a half, what will they buy next???
