Rogers Wireless customers now have access to a new source for business stories on their mobile devices - FPinfomart.ca (owned by CanWest MediaWorks) has signed a deal to work with Rogers Wireless  and provide customers with:

• Access to stories on the front pages of the National Post, Montreal Gazette, Ottawa Citizen, Calgary Herald and Vancouver Sun
• Personal Profiles allow the user to monitor the media day-by-day using customized criteria
• FP Company Snapshot provides an overview of every publicly traded company in Canada
• FP Summary provides an overview of the top business news each and every business day
• Industry News monitors business stories in over 40 major industries

FPinfomart.ca is 74% owned by CanWest MediaWorks and has an extensive database of 4,000 Canadian public companies. The service was developed for the Blackberry.
The offering sounds very similar to AvantGo which entered the marketplace years ago, but one advantage FPinfomart.ca is a deep pool of Canadian content.
