Jenny - well the MacBook Pro only got worse, now I have gone through (2) batteries, (1) fan, (1) hard drive and (1) logic board. I think it is time to say RIP to my MacBook Pro after less than 1 year!

My battery just recently did the same thing! My computer is all I do right now, I'm a full time student at a graphic design school! I didnt even know what happened to it! It was just a funny shape, so i tool it in after looking it up on the internet, and found out that there were many cases of this, because the battery exploded! Y didn't they have a recall on our batteries!? Is there anything that causes it, or any way to prevent it!? Just figured I'd ask someone that's not a mac service person!

[...] Tamera at 3i points me to Dave Forde’s post trying to synthesize a working definition of a Web 2.0 company. I have mentioned before that I get a different defintion from everyone I ask, but realized that I hadn’t given one of my own. In the interests of not re-wording what others have ably articulated I will offer the following defintion in the hopes that David will include this: [...]

[...] Calling all Canadian Corporate Bloggers Posted January 15, 2007 Dave Forde - who blogs at Profectio (Latin for the source) and Da Forde - checked in with Elastic Path today about a a research survey he is brewing up about Canadian Corporate bloggers. Since Get Elastic falls into the corporate blogger category, I took the 5 minutes to fill out the survey and, since surveys are better with more folks, I encourage you to do the same. Also be sure to chime in your offering on this (in progress) list of Canadian bloggers. [...]

Thanks for chiming in for Elastic Path Mike. I fired up the blog and podcast project last April i joined EP (a ecommerce software vendor). After originally hosting on the free Wordpress.com, we recently moved to WPMU in-house.

I've recently written a white paper about the benefits of blogging for retailers. During my research, I was surprised not only at the lack of high-profile (and non-techie) Canadian companies blogging, but also the lack of high quality retailer blogs (not blogs about retailing but rather retailers blogging).

The white paper will be coming out later this week (Jan. 18th or so) along with a series of blog posts with annotations, notes and links. Stop by to check it out.
