Podcast/ Videoblogging Conference - Toronto, Canada - Call for Speakers
Quick update, we’re now looking at February 21st, 2007 for the date of the conference. A website will be up shortly, but the call for speakers is now open. The format for the conference will be a mix of keynotes, panel discussions and workshops. The conference will cover content for those who create podcasts and vlogs, but also content for companies who are looking to leverage this fast growing medium.
Here’s some input that I’ve received of what people would like to see covered:
- How to create a podcast/ videoblog?
- Distribution – What service should I use to get my content out?
- Hosting – What should I look for?
- Branding – How can my company leverage a podcast/ videoblog to brand our product/ service?
- How can I monetize my content?
- Interviewing Techniques
- Networks – Is there a benefit to be part of a podcast/ videoblog network
- Marketing/ Promotion – Get the word out about your content
- Social Media Press Release – What is it, should our company develop one
- What is the ROI of a corporation using podcasts/ videoblogs for their marketing campaigns?
