Collin Douma posted on his blog about the end of an era between Segal Communications and Facebook, where Segal was handling advertising sales for Facebook in Canada. While this is news it isn’t new as Facebook has made it pretty clear for the last few months that they building up a team of sales people in Toronto. There are job ad on their site and they’ve mentioned it at a number of Facebook Camp.
The race between Facebook and MySpace is a never ending one and I predict that before 2009 is done we’ll see someone heading up Facebook Canada, as Dave Stevens does for MySpace.
