Submitted by Dave Forde on September 3, 2013 – 10:36 am
With $3.8 in funding secured back in April of this year, music recommendation and sharing service Songza is looking to grow it’s market share in Canada. The New York-based company was created by the same team that founded AmieStreet, the MP3 download store, and was sold to Amazon in 2010.
As part of their expansion plans Songza has hired Phil Schlatter as their Director of Sales for Canada. Phil is just coming off a one year sabbatical, prior to that he was a Senior Advertising Sales Manager at Kijiji, and Senior Account Manager at TELUS.
