From coast to coast Canadians love their sports and The Score is on the hunt for Canada’s Next Sportscaster with the launch of a new campaign, Gillette DRAFTED. The new nationwide opportunity to be one of the Score’s newest sportscaster sponsored by Gillette.
“The Score wants to add new talent to its lineup of sharp and confident sportscasters and who better to help than Gillette,” says Pam Baillie, P Beauty Grooming ER Manager, Procter Gamble Inc. “We’re here to help every participant put on their best ‘game face’ for The Score during this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hit the big time in sportscasting.”
The contest opened earlier this week, participants can register online at the official contest website, www.DRAFTED.ca over the next few weeks and live auditions will be held in Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa, St. John’s, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
All stages of Gillette DRAFTED: The Search for Canada’s Next Sportscaster will be featured as part of an upcoming reality series on The Score, scheduled to debut in Fall 2009. A Facebook Fan page and Twitter account have also been set up for the campaign.

Hi there! I’m extremely interested n auditioning for your contest but live in Fernie, BC (which is 3 hrs SW of Calgary) and would make the trip if I knew what date to be there. I’ve always wanted to be a sports broadcaster and think this is a perfect opportunity for me to show my love and passion for sports. Please let me know when I should make the trip beacause I’ve got a few little secret weapons that I think you should see. Thank you for your time and have a great day!
